International Scholar Sponsorship Application

Call for Applications (2026 Conference)

The James R Webb ARES Foundation International Scholar Sponsorships support International real estate scholars from emerging markets attending and presenting their research at the American Real Estate Society Conference taking place in Sandestin, Florida from March 24th to March 28th, 2026. The award can be used to pay for conference registration, lodging, airfare and visa fees with a maximum award US$3000. International scholars in real estate, finance, economics, housing, urban planning, construction management, and any other field relevant to real estate/property who are members of IRES sister societies are invited to apply.

To apply for the James R Webb ARES Foundation International Scholar Sponsorship for the 2026 ARES conference, please complete the online form below as soon as possible, but no later than 30th September 2025. Approvals will be made on a rolling basis and will include alternates who could be offered a sponsorship if the initial recipients are unable to attend. As soon as a recipient is chosen, they will be provided with a letter of invitation and a statement of financial support to assist with a visa application, if necessary.

To qualify for this program, the recipient must:

Be a member of an IRES sister society.
Agree to attend all official dates of the conference for which expenses are reimbursed.
