ASG Student of the Year - 2024
Elizabeth Curley BiographyElizabeth Curley is a member of the Villanova School of Business class of 2024, set to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a major in Real Estate and a minor in Finance. At Villanova, she has served as Co-President of the Dilalla Mulroy Student Managed Fund, guiding her team in nationwide real estate investments. Her notable achievements include securing third place in the ICSC Retail Real Estate Case Competition and clinching first in the Monmouth University Kislak Real Estate Institute Challenge. Beyond her academic pursuits, Elizabeth remains deeply engaged within the Villanova community, having served as the philanthropy chair of Delta Gamma and treasurer of the Club Tennis team. Last summer, she excelled as a multifamily acquisitions intern at Alterra Property Group in Philadelphia, PA, where she conducted comprehensive market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to support investment decision-making. Elizabeth is eagerly anticipating her post-grad role as an Asset Management Analyst at AEW Capital Management in Boston, MA. ASG Graduate Student of the Year - 2023
Grégoire Bisson BiographyGrégoire Bisson is in the final year of his Bachelor's degree at the EHL Hospitality Business School. During his studies, he was President of the EHL Junior Entreprise and participated in its development. Grégoire discovered real estate at 16 during an internship at a development company. He has since nurtured his attraction to the sector by undertaking internships in different areas of the real estate industry. In particular, he joined the Paris office of Cushman & Wakefield for almost 6 months, where he discovered the world of real estate valuation. Furthermore, as part of his diploma work, he accompanies a company in developing a real estate project in Switzerland. From now on, Grégoire is working on a career as a real estate developer specializing in hotels and sustainability. Before that, he is preparing to enter a double master's degree at Sciences Po (Paris) and ESCP Business School, where he intends to develop his finance and real estate law skills. Ashley Reiter BiographyAshley Reiter is a member of Villanova School of Business class of 2023, graduating cum laude with majors in Finance and Real Estate and minors in Business Law and Business Analytics. At Villanova, she has served as Senior Manager and Co-President of the Dilalla Mulroy Student Managed Fund and been involved with the Real Estate Society. She competed in the national Mulroy Case Competition as a semifinalist, and received first place in the S&P Global Hackathon Finance Challenge for analysis of inflation’s impact on the real estate industry. She also served as philanthropy chair for Alpha Phi sorority. She has completed four internships in real estate with private equity firms throughout her four years at Villanova, two during academic years. Outside of academics, Ashley is a music enthusiast, as she is classically trained on the piano. She enjoys travel and learning languages, and the outdoors. She is excited to be pursuing a career in real estate private equity following graduation. ASG Student of the Year - 2021
Kelsea Wong BiographyKelsea Wong is a member of the Villanova Business School class of 2021, graduating with an undergraduate major in Finance and Real Estate and a minor in Business Law. On campus, she is involved with several organizations including the Student-Managed Private Real Estate Fund, Real Estate Society, McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership, and She’s the First. She is also a recent nominee to the Poets & Quants 100 Best & Brightest Undergraduate Majors. In her free time, she enjoys traveling abroad, discovering new restaurants with friends, spending time with family, and any outdoors activity. Post-graduation, she is going to work for The Blackstone Group, and looks forward to her next chapter in NYC. ASG Student of the Year - 2021
Salome Richalet BiographySimoné Richalet will graduate from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in June 2021. Over the course of her studies, she discovered a strong interest in real estate finance. She participated in an online real estate finance course given by the London School of Economics to gain theoretical knowledge. After the course, she joined CBRE London as their Hotel Valuation Intern to discover how real estate works in "real life." She continued her real estate training at EHL to deepen her knowledge. Thanks to those experiences, she plans to pursue a career in the field. She is currently exploring options in real estate private equity and investment banking. Lilian Yool BiographyLilian is a Development Officer with the Housing Authority of Illinois (IHDA). Through her role, she helps with the creation and preservation of Affordable Multifamily Developments Illinois. Lilian is passionate about her role because she believes that affordable housing is important for the quality of living of communities. Future aspirations include to be part development project that will have life-long impacts and social benefits to the community members. Lilian is a past resident of the Pilsen Community and enjoys going back to participate in the summer festivities. Owin Orr BiographyOwin Orr graduated summa cum laude from the University of Denver (DU) Daniels College of Business in June 2019 with a double major in Real Estate and Finance. In his three years at DU, he was elected the Daniels College of Business senator on student government, studied abroad in Thailand, coordinated professional activities for the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity, and served in DU mentorship programs. Owin enjoys building teams and participated in 14 student case competitions, including twice in the NAIOP Rocky Mountain Real Estate Challenge. He graduated with “Distinction” in real estate and received the department’s top award, as well as the highest scholarship ranking in the 2018-2019 Daniels class. He had five different internships in various real estate and construction positions throughout high school and college. Owin is currently completing his first year as a Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst at U.S. Bank in Denver, CO. He intends to continue learning ambitiously and building robust relationships in pursuit of a career in real estate investment. |
