.Are you interested in obtaining an Amateur Radio License?   Well here is your starting point. On this page you will find on-line resources as well as publications that will help you pass the test.  If you need information concerning clubs in your area, and are unsure how to contact them,   I have a very simple method for you to try.  Look in the yellow pages and find your nearest Radio Shack or Two-way communications.  When you call, ask the person that answers if they have a Ham operator working there, most do. The should be able to help you get started with a name and telephone number to a club in your area.  Many clubs offer either classes or testing.
