This year the BBC held its annual picnic in the hometown of Marion, KQ4GE in Jackson, TN.  It was the first time I had made the annual event, and I must admit it was a wonderful experience.  Off and on I have talked with most of those present during the BBC net.  But as most people you talk with over a radio, you never get a true sense of who the person really is.  By going I recovered that all are wonderful people with an adventurous spirit and good sense of humor.  All in all, I would had not missed it for the world.  I have only one regret, that is I did not have a cam-corder to record this event.

Caught in the Act.   Jim - KA3PMP was enjoying another bite as this picture was taken.  In all, Jim like everyone else enjoyed the picnic, talking with old friends and catching up on everything that was not said on the BBC net.

Looking so content is John- WB8WEK, seems deep in thought.  Considering how to take over the world?, or if he can just walk all the way back to the hotel after this meal?  I'm not sure which thought he was really thinking.  I leave it for your consideration.

Mugging for the camera is Harris - KB5BFK. A cup of coffee, a glass of water and good company makes him happy.

Take it far a fact of life, you would rather cloth than feed him.
