Well, I can't think of anyone that would complain
about their visit. |

All of those that attended stayed at the
Casey Jones Hotel in Jackson. A very
nice place if you like trains and bright lights.
Just kidding, it was a very nice place.
Especially for rail-road buffs. |

The antique steam engine was one of the nicer
touches of the area. After al, it wouldn't be
Casey Jones without a real steam locomotive. |

This was a nice touch. They brought in
real train cars and
turned them into guest rooms. I did not inquire
into the cost, but I would venture to guess its not a
cheap nights sleep. However, I thing it might be
worth it. |

No matter how good the company, or how short
the weekend was, we all had to return home.
As for me, I had my pet to feed. Talk about mad!,
he wouldn't come on the porch for a week. |

My new pet. I went to the mail box on a very
dark and rainy day.
As the thunder clapped I looked across the street and noticed a
little black spot under the rear wheels of a dump truck.
I call it out and took it upstairs to dry her off. She was just
over 2 pounds and whimpering. 5 months later I woke to discover
my little puppy had been spirited away and exchanged with;
I guess naming her STORMY was right on target |
